Our Approach
Hillsborough Acupuncture was founded in 2017 and focuses primarily on family health. We treat patients of all ages and use many modalities to do so. We offer Acupuncture, Acupressure, Laser Acupuncture, Ear seeds, Cranial Electric Stimulation, Electric stimulation, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tuina and Herbal formulas. At Hillsborough Acupuncture, we provide a comprehensive and individualized treatment approach which is custom tailored to our patients' needs. We are always expending and integrating new modalities into our practice in order to provide the most up to date supportive care for all of our patients.

About Vanessa Guinet

V anessa Guinet is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Certified Herbalist in the states of New Jersey and New York. She is Board Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Vanessa completed her Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City.
After acquiring extensive clinical experience at Pacific College of Health and Science, including an externship at St Vincent Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Care in New York City, Vanessa transitioned into a private practice in Manhattan. In 2008, she joined Acupuncture Health Associates with offices in Westfield and Watchung, where she specialized in pain management and fertility. In 2017, Vanessa Guinet founded Hillsborough Acupuncture, out of a desire to work closer to her growing family. She remains an associate at Acupuncture Health Associates on a part time basis and has dedicated the last few years to grow her private practice in Hillsborough.
Vanessa has years of experience working with patients with chronic pain issues, hormonal problems, fertility, stress and anxiety. She thrives to empower patients in taking charge of their health and takes the time to find the root cause of all issues in order to achieve lasting improvements. In addition to acupuncture, Vanessa also prescribes herbal formulas in both patent pill form and custom powders when additional nutritional support is needed.
